We created the first brand activation in Latin America to use AR within the Facebook and Snapchat apps.
Chimex is the ally of moms who create meals that are enough for everyone on the table. Of moms who don't have wings, but manage to fly their way around the kitchen. Of moms who don't have light bulbs around their heads, but do have amazing ideas. Of moms who don't have super strength, but manage stretch the money available for groceries. And even those moms who don't have food-multiplying lasers on their eyes, but create meals that are enough for everyone.
We wanted to let shoppers experience with their very own eyes how much they can accomplish with CHIMEX. We relied on technology to create the first activation in Latin America to use AR within the Facebook and Snapchat apps, allowing shoppers to see the great variety of meals they could prepare, using CHIMEX products.
We used tablets that shoppers pointed at CHIMEX packs to produce augmented reality in 3D of stunning meals that they could sample right there.
As a bonus action we used an interactive resource, a viewmaster, to showcase different meals prepared with each CHIMEX product.
We adapted the message of seeing the great variety of meals to tactical materials specifically though for wholesale channels, getting great results at the end of our campaign.
